iRacing Coaching from World Champions

No matter if you just started or have been at it for years, there will come the point when you stagnate, and you start feeling frustrated. Our VRS® coaches have been there, too. But today, they are among the best sim racers in the world. Join VRS academy and learn from the best.

Never rest on your laurels

Without training, you’ll never be gaining. Our world-champion sim racing coaches have lived that grind — and our iRacing coaching passes on the relentless preparation that makes them fast.

Coaches

It’s a match: find your perfect coach

Whether you're planning to go road racing, dirt racing, or enjoy oval racing, you'll find your perfect coach within the VRS® coaching roster. Our coaches bring invaluable experience and have won dozens of championships between them. Book your coaching session with 2-time Porsche TAG Heuer Esports Supercup world champion Joshua Rogers, 4-time NASCAR iRacing world champion Ray Alfalla, 3-time iRacing Grand Prix world champion Martin Krönke, or Red Bull X Games gold medalist and iRacing Rallycross world champion Mitchell deJong. Or pick one of more than 80 expert coaches.

1-on-1 coaching

Enjoy a private coaching session

Usually, it's you versus the track. With a 1-on-1 coaching session, you and a VRS® coach face the track together. Experience what it takes to master every track and race car in a personalized coaching session. The coach will join you on track to analyze your driving skills and show you how to overcome any challenges.

Group trainings

Get up to speed as a team

Motorsport is a team sport, and so is sim racing. Some of our VRS® coaches offer bespoke private group coaching sessions for you and your team. The VRS coach will join your session, analyze your team's driving performance, and help you speed up on the track. Or if you don’t have a team, join one of our public group trainings that focus on skills like driving, race craft, and setup building.

Coaching FAQ

How does an iRacing coaching session work?
In a 1-on-1 session your VRS coach joins you on track, analyses your driving in real time and shows you exactly where and how to find time — turning ‘you versus the track’ into the two of you working the track together. Prefer to learn alongside others? Some coaches offer bespoke private group sessions for you and your team, and there are public group trainings focused on the skills that matter most: driving, race craft and setup building.
What makes VRS coaching different?
In racing, lap times never lie — and nor does data. VRS pairs world-class coaches with real telemetry: alongside your sessions, three subscription plans let you analyse and level up your own performance between coaching. It is the same data-driven approach our coaches use to win, applied to your driving.
How much does iRacing coaching cost?
Coaching is booked per session and priced by each coach, so the cost depends on the coach you choose and whether you book a 1-on-1 or a group session. You will see a coach’s current rate on their VRS profile before you book. Between sessions, three VRS subscription plans let you keep analysing your own telemetry so every paid hour with a coach goes further.
How do I book a sim racing coaching session?
You book coaching through VRS: browse the roster of 80+ champion coaches, pick the coach whose experience fits your car and discipline, and request a 1-on-1 or group session with them directly. Your coach then joins you on track and works through your telemetry with you.
Do you offer 1-on-1 or group coaching?
Both. Most drivers start with 1-on-1 sessions where a coach works only with you, but many coaches also run bespoke private group sessions for you and your team, and VRS runs public group trainings focused on the skills that matter most: driving, race craft and setup building.
Does VRS coach ACC and Le Mans Ultimate too, or only iRacing?
VRS coaching is built around iRacing, where our 80+ coaches race and win at the highest level across road, dirt and oval. The fundamentals they teach — braking, race craft, setup and telemetry analysis — carry directly across to other sims, so if you race Assetto Corsa Competizione (ACC) or Le Mans Ultimate (LMU) tell your coach and they will tailor the session to the title you drive.
