The VRS® team has always been on a mission to make quality sim-racing products more accessible and more affordable. We’re now exploring a rental program where you can use our hardware without having to make a purchase, in the form of a hardware subscription
The basics
- Sign up for the waitlist
- Subscription costs 100 EUR/USD per month
- Pay for shipping and submit your deposit
- Use the hardware as long as you want
- Return the hardware to end the subscription and get your deposit back
- OR purchase at a discount based on how long you’ve rented
How it works
You pick a wheel, base, and pedals during sign-up. You can change each product at any time during your subscription by just paying for shipping.
Then you pay a refundable deposit, which we keep while you’re on the subscription. Once you return the hardware, we inspect it for damage and return a proportion of your deposit, up to 100% if there is only minor wear.
Alternatively, you can decide to purchase the hardware you're currently renting - in that case, 100% of your deposit is deducted from the purchase price. You also accumulate a purchase discount of 100 EUR/USD every 4 months of your subscription, up to a limit of 300 EUR/USD, which you can use to purchase the hardware.
For example: let's say you’ve been renting for 12 months, and there’s a current discount on our online shop page of 270 EUR/USD for a bundle with the products you are renting. You have accumulated 300 EUR/USD of discount. So you can get a total discount of 270+300=570 EUR/USD on the hardware you're renting. Your initial deposit is also deducted from the final purchase price.
