Securing the DirectForce® Pro Formula Wheel Cable

Your cable package should include a Velcro strap along with the Formula Wheel cable.

Attach the coiled part of the new cable to your hub adapter or quick release using the included Velcro strap for better durability. Make sure the strap is tight – as pictured below – but without crushing the coils.

When attaching the Velcro, position it so that a couple of sections of coil are on the wheel side of the strap, and the rest are on the motor side, as pictured here:

Confirm the cable maintains its position on the hub adapter or quick release when rotating the wheel. Test it out with movements you’d perform while using the wheel.

Done! This should allow your cable to last a long time.
